Pictures by Vladimir Berger

In fear of sounding cliché, I really am the happiest person in the world and very excited to share with you pictures from our photoshoot! These pictures turned out better than I could have ever wished for; thank you again, Vlad, for working your photography magic!

I was deciding whether or not I should share our engagement story, as we all know that oversharing is a big thing nowadays… but I think that this is something that I would really like to share and give you a glimpse of what to me feels like an absolute fairy tale.

I met my fiancé (Kris) two years ago in New York City outside of the Comedy Cellar. It was almost the end of our stay in the city, and with Kris flying out the following evening, he invited me out for lunch the next day. Unfortunately, that day my friend needed to report her phone stolen, but with my now fiancé offering to accompany us, we set off and enjoyed our first date in a police station of all places! After leaving New York, we kept in touch, and the rest is history.

Two years of being together later, we decided to revisit our favourite city in the world; to listen to our beloved jazz music and obviously visit the spot where we met two years ago.
We headed out to the Comedy Cellar in the perfect evening atmosphere of Greenwich Village and with the streets so full and colourful (If you've been there you know what I'm talking about when I say Greenwich is the best!).

The superb show we saw that night, also had my absolute favourite songs by Frank Sinatra played at the beginning and end. Once we were back on the street and ready to recreate how we met 2 years ago, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The people were cheering and cars honking for us, it truly felt like a scene from a movie! And of course, I happily said YES!

It just felt utterly surreal. It turned out people were even taking pictures of us (talk about free photography, right?), and I am so glad they did because they captured this extraordinary moment for us. One girl was also so kind to send us the pictures. It was the most beautiful moment in my life so far; I honestly couldn't have dreamt a more beautiful engagement!

While planning our trip, we had already decided to arrange a couple’s photo shoot in New York. This proved very handy, as we then repurposed this into an engagement shoot. So, the pictures you see are not from the actual engagement, the real ones capturing the moment we would like to save for our closest family and friends. I am beyond happy that we did the photo shoot as we absolutely love the results! I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

It's no secret that my favourite combo is black and white. Today I'm coming to you with my recent favourite casual look. I bought these pants last year and I swear they were the best buy ever. The slit on the pant leg makes it so cool on such hot summer days (even though the pants are black), I feel like I've been living in these pants ever since the weather turned so hot. Finish it off with a tucked in T-shirt and voila, you've got my go-to summer look!

Marble, pearls, and Gucci. You might wonder what these things have in common... Well, that's what I want to present to you today - my recent obsessions.

Ever since Alessandro Michele took over as the creative director for Gucci, the world has gone crazy about the brand (including me!). I would bet that you've been seeing this double G buckle belt literally everywhere recently, and I just simply couldn't help myself but get it. I swear it transforms every single outfit and gives it that special touch.

When it comes to pearls... to be honest with you, I haven't always been a big fan. I somehow always associated them with older ladies and considered them old-fashioned. However, I've recently realised how much of a misconception this was. What I originally considered to be old-fashioned turns out to just be timeless and now I'm crushing over these Dior earrings.

Finally marble... Well actually, I don't think I have to comment on how stunning this marble staircase is, do I?

Have a great week everyone!

Palazzo Pants

Warm weather is on it's way and these Palazzo pants are the saviours of comfortable fashion for spring/summer. When styled right, they really show an elegance that can be hard to pull off in the summer months comfortably.
Here I've went with my favourite combo black & white, but the beauty of these pants is that there is such a large variation of styles available to go with any combo.

Make sure to go out there and build your spring/summer around them!

Spring Sprung

Spring has suddenly sprung this past weekend in Vienna, giving me the opportunity to go with grey, white and black - my favourite colours, to kick off my favourite season!

I went for the grey coat, a relic from my brief but wonderful trip to England; black “ugly” Mule shoes, combined with my recent falling for the fishnet trend; and a white printed t-shirt; finally, being capped off with jeans for a laid-back, fresh spring look.

What are your favourite spring colour combos?

Pictures by Martin Phox

The 1st month of the year is over, and after a forced hiatus (broken laptop) I’m back and ready to show you what January had in store for me!

What better way to kick off a new year, than by taking part in a fabulous shoot for the Vienna Fashion Walk, in the amazingly beautiful Kunsthistorisches Museum!

With a theme of ‘women between tradition and modernity’, picking the right mix of elegance was the key here. I decided to ditch the ballgowns, but still go for something that is firmly placed within the scale of elegance and as you can see below, I believe this short velvet dress illustrates this perfectly.

As for the accessories, these beautiful pieces were provided by the wonderful Cadenzza and they really make this outfit drip with elegance.

How’s 2017 been treating you so far?
