It's Not the Shoes. It's the Walk.

Pictures by Martin Phox

My mom always told me that the shoes are the most significant part of the outfit. They can complete the look, or create an unexpected twist and contrast. With that thought, I think we can all agree that shoes are important (right?). However, think about this - how we walk is really the key. It's not about the shoes. It's about confidence and the message we are projecting from ourselves. Even the prettiest shoes won't make the cut, because even if it sounds corny, the real beauty is on the inside. So straighten your back, fight all your intimidation's and walk as if everybody was watching. Make the best of it. Be your best.
All in all, it's not the SHOES. It's the WALK.

Spring Change

Pictures by Martin Phox

Spring is officially here! Even though I'm excited about wearing lighter clothes and having my leather jacket back again, it's hard for me to say goodbye to winter coats. Especially to this tan trenchcoat (just as in the last post). This time I've paired it with black jeans and a black mesh tunic from H&M's collaboration with Alexander Wang. Casual and comfy but not too obvious. What do you think?
